Public beta of macOS High Sierra is now live

If you’ve been wanting to try out Apple’s newest version of its Mac operating system, then the wait is over. Public beta for macOS High Sierra is now available. Interested users can enroll in the Apple Beta Software Program and sign up at this link. But again we have to remind you that beta versions of an OS aren’t stable or will work as advertised just yet as this software is still in development.

Apple has a few tips for those who want to give the new OS a try:

— This is beta software that is still in development, which means some applications and services may not work as expected.
— We recommend installing macOS High Sierra beta on a secondary Mac.
— Make a back up of your Mac before installing.
— There will be periodic updates to the macOS High Sierra beta, and you will be able to upgrade to the final version of macOS High Sierra when it ships this fall.
— Use your Mac as you normally would, and if you encounter any issues, use the built-in Feedback Assistant app to report them.
— Visit the macOS Beta Program guide for the latest information about the High Sierra beta and how to submit feedback.
