IKEA enters the Bluetooth speaker market with ENEBY line coming on August 1

IKEA Canada has announced its introduction to sound with the new ENEBY line of speakers. Bluetooth enabled, the ENEBY speakers are IKEA’s next venture into smart home technology in Canada.

Developed by IKEA of Sweden, the ENEBY speakers offer mnuted styles and materials that set them apart from the bluetooth speaker crowd. Designed to fit into more stylish interiors, these speakers look like they can easily blend in instead of stand out. The ENEBY line will be available across the country on August 1. The Details:


•    The speaker projects a clear, powerful sound and can be connected to your phone, computer or any other Bluetooth®-enabled device, with the ability to sync up to eight devices, as well as connectivity via a 3.5 mm AUX cable
•    Available in two sizes (20x20 and 30x30) and two colours (black and white), the speakers come in a sleek design and can be mounted on stands, wall brackets, or placed in KALLAX or EKET storage units
•    The 20x20 speaker has a handle, so it can be hung on a hook or taken to a party or picnic using its add-on battery pack
•    For those who prefer a minimalist look, you can remove the mesh fabric front and let parts of the speaker remain exposed
