It’s now easier to reschedule meetings on Google Calendar

Do you need to reschedule a meeting? Google Calendar wants to make this an easier affair for you. The app will let you propose alternative times within the app itself. The organizer of the meeting will then have the option to review and accept or reject the new time. The organizer will also be able to see the availability windows of the other attendees, if their calendars are shared with co-workers, that is. Google Calendar will show these shared calendars side-by-side to make it easier to set a new time that can accommodate everyone. Part of this new feature is letting you add an optional message to give the organizer context on why the meeting needs to be rescheduled. The feature is now live on Google Calendar for the web but will come to mobile starting August 13th. It should also work across domains as well as Microsoft Exchange.
