LG set to launch V40 ThinQ on October 3rd

October is really turning into a month of big smartphone launches. LG is set to launch its newest flagship on October 3rd at an event in New York. The LG V40 ThinQ will then be making an appearance in Seoul the day after for a second launch. LG released a teaser video for the launch and it looks like there are hints of a triple camera system. It’s rumoured to pack in a regular 12MP f/1.5 unit with large 1.4µm pixels, an ultra-wide 16MP f/1.9 1.0µm shooter, and a 2x telephoto 12MP f/2.4 camera with 1.0µm sized-pixels. In the front it’s said to have an 8MP regular lens combined with a 5MP wide-angle lens.

Other rumoured specs include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB RAM, and up to 128GB for its internal storage. Its dimensions are said to measure 158.7 x 75.8 x 7.79mm combined with 169g weight. Battery seems to be paltry though when combined with the rumoured 6.4-inch QHD+ AMOLED display.
