OnePlus re-releases Android 10-based OxygenOS 10 for OnePlus 6, OnePlus 6T

After facing some issues, OnePlus had to pull the Android 10-based OxygenOS 10 software update from the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T. But now, the company has fixed the problems and has re-released OxygenOS 10.0.1 through an over-the-air update.

Some of the new features OnePlus 6 and 6T include Game Space, the ability to block spam keywords in the Messages app, as well as Android 10 features like gesture support and better notification controls.

Here's the changelog for the update:

System

  • Updated system to Android 10
  • Brand new UI for Android 10
  • Updated Android security patch to 2019.10
  • Fixed the fingerprint identification issue
  • Fixed the animation lag for fingerprint unlock
  • Fixed the automatic reboot issue after upgrade

Camera

  • Improved the performance and fixed known issues

Wi-Fi Connectivity

  • Fixed the 5GHz Wi-Fi connection

The rollout is happening in stages, so you might have to be a bit patient if the update hasn't reached your device yet.
