Fitbit Sense, Versa 3 can now track blood oxygen levels while you sleep, support Google Assistant

A new update rolling out for the latest Fitbit smartwatches gets a couple of useful features. Version 5.1 software update lets the Fitbit Sense and Versa 3 track your blood oxygen levels overnight without needing to install any SpO2 clock faces. But if you're the type who wants to see that regularly, Fitbit will also introduce seven new faces in the gallery before the end of the year.

With the on-device mics and speakers, the Sense and Versa 3 will get support for Google Assistant. It will be coming in English to Canada in December and French in early 2021. So, the usual voice assistant functions will be available on these wearables. 

The Sense and Versa 3 users can also use Google Assistant and Alexa to receive hands-free calls, send incoming calls to voicemail, and control volume. Meanwhile, Android users can also send text messages with voice-to-text commands, and Alexa users can also receive audible replies from the assistant. Audible replies will be coming to Google Assistant in the first half of next year, too. Fitbit just started rolling out the update, so if it hasn't made its way to you yet, you might just have to wait a bit.
