Twitter's take on Stories is called Fleets

The ephemeral posts that Snapchat made popular with its Stories have invaded most popular social platforms. Now, Twitter is somewhat ready to roll out its version. The company is calling it the Fleet, and it's being tested in Brazil. These posts that would last for 24 hours will appear in a separate timeline above your main timeline. There will be a new plus button that shows up at the top of your timeline, where the other fleets will be. When you tap on that button, you can type up text posts of up to 280 characters, add photos, GIFs, and videos. You know the drill.

Fleets from those you follow and who follow you back will appear first, with the most recent posts showing up first. And then, you'll get to see posts from other accounts you follow. As expected, you will not be able to like or retweet these fleets. But you can react to them with the reaction emojis you might have seen recently introduced to Twitter's direct messages, or you can send the person behind the account a DM.
