Apple celebrates Chinese New Year with special edition AirPods Pro

Limited edition Apple products aren't that common, so people always pay attention when the tech company releases some. One of the newest special edition Apple gadgets is this limited-edition AirPods Pro that's inspired by the upcoming Chinese New Year, which ushers in the Year of the Ox. The special true wireless earbuds will be available in select Asian countries, including China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan. Apple even has a customized logo on these countries' home pages to celebrate the occasion.

What's unique about this AirPods Pro model is getting a cute and unique emoji on the case and the retail box. Etched in grey, it depicts the classic cow emoji with a smaller cow coming out of its head while stars are floating around it. The box has the same logo, but it's in red. 

This AirPods Pro is priced similarly to regular AirPods Pro, which in China is RMB 1,999. These limited edition earbuds are available from Apple retail stores or through Apple.com for those countries with a two-unit-per-order limit. Those who live in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan can avail of in-store pickup, too.
