You can watch animated shorts on 'Fortnite' this weekend
If you spend time in Fortnite's no-combat mode Party Royale this weekend, you'll get to enjoy some animated shorts this weekend. The game is hosting its "Short Nite" film festival starting on February 20, at 11 a.m. PT or 2 p.m. ET, until the same time the next day. This 24-hour event will show a new short film in the Party Royale mode every 30 minutes.
According to Epic Games' press release, "The films were made by creators and directors from around the world, and feature several award-winning shorts, including winners of the Academy Awards, BAFTAs, and Emmys."
These are the movies you can expect:
- Bench
- Makin' Moves
- Rollin' Wild
- Car Park
- Maestro
- Oktapodi
- A Single Life
- Catastrophe
- Commuter Glitch
- Creature Comforts
- Lynx & Birds
This event isn't the first time Fortnite hosted an event like this. Travis Scott held a concert in Party Royale last year. There have also been concerts from the likes of Diplo and Anderson .Paak, movie trailers, film viewings, and more.
