Canadian Android users get first dibs on 'Pokémon UNITE' beta test

Interested Canadian Android users looking to try out Pokémon UNITE will be the lucky ones to try out the game first. The regional beta test will be exclusively available in Canada for Android devices, even though the free-to-play, multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game will come to iOS and the Nintendo Switch.

Aside from limiting the beta test to one device, players need to be older than 16 years old and capturing or streaming gameplay isn't allowed. In-game progress you've made will be reset when the beta test is completed.

If you want to try out the game, head to Pokémon UNITE's Google Play Store page.

Tencent Games' TiMi Studios partnered with The Pokémon Company to develop this title. Like the usual MOBA, Pokémon UNITE has players participating in 5-on-5 team battles. You need to work with your teammates to capture, level up, and evolve Pokémon to stop opponents from scoring and winning the games while trying to score more points within the allotted time.
