Netflix starts testing two Android games in Poland

Source: Netflix

Netflix is ready to give a bit of a taste of its gaming plans. The company is testing out two games on Android revolving around Stranger Things. Some Android users in Poland can now play Stranger Things 1984 and Stranger Things 3. You won't be able to stream the game live like with Microsoft xCloud. Instead, Netflix is a hub where you can download games to your phone, like Steam on the PC.

The games aren't exclusive on Netflix as both titles are available on the Google Play Store for now. But you will need a Netflix account to play. The company plans include games in your membership and won't come with ads or in-app purchases. iOS compatibility is coming out in a few months. Netflix is quick to preface that they are still in the "very, very early days" of its gaming initiative, so don't be surprised if it changes up in the coming months. We're really curious to see how this turns out.
