Samsung teases Galaxy S22 series' Feb. launch, hints at 'noteworthy' features
Samsung has confirmed that its next Unpacked event is happening next month, which will be when the company will launch its latest Galaxy S22 flagship series. We don't know when the event will be, but TM Roh, Samsung's president and head of MX Business, teased in a blog post what we can expect from the "most noteworthy S series device" yet. That the upcoming flagship will be "bringing together the greatest experiences of our Samsung Galaxy into one ultimate device."
It's an obvious nod to the Galaxy Note line, suggesting more Note features are coming to the premium Galaxy smartphone. The rumours are saying the Galaxy S22 Ultra will adopt a design similar to the Galaxy Note20 Ultra (the last Note made) and incorporate a built-in stylus with the lowest-ever touch latency rate. And Ultra might be its name (instead of the rumoured S22 Note), given how Roh ends his post with "Get ready for the ultimate Ultra experience."
Aside from the Note features, the device will apparently help you "own the night – taking the best and brightest photos and videos you've ever captured with a phone," as well as "dominate the day with power, speed and tools that can't be found elsewhere," and "enjoy cutting edge-innovations made possible thanks to the smartest Galaxy experience yet." Whatever that means, we'll find out next month.
