Razer and Fossil launch special edition version of Gen 6 smartwatch

Source: Razer

One of the new devices Razer showed off at CES is actually a smartwatch that has been introduced before. The Razer x Fossil Gen 6 smartwatch updates the existing Wear OS device to get a Razer feel. It comes with a black strap, but the company also gives you an acid green-coloured band that matches Razer's signature colour.

Unlike the original, which also had a 42mm option, the smartwatch is only available in 44mm size. It gets three Razer-branded watch faces, including a Chroma face that lets you match other Razer Chroma products. It has "breathe" and "wave" lighting patterns, even if technically it isn't RGB. There is also an analog watch face with the Razer logo and one that shows time numerically in a Razer-inspired font.

Everything else about the watch is still a Fossil Gen 6 device. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100+, which is expected to get the new Wear OS 3 later this year. Razer and Fossil only plan to sell 1,337 units of this special edition wearable (because L33T, of course). And it's slightly more expensive at US$329 (around CA$418 converted).
