Razer's updated Zephyr Pro mask gets voice amplification

Source: Razer

Almost a year since Razer unveiled the Project Hazel smart face mask, the company is back with the Zephyr (its official product name) and a Pro version of it. It gets all the features of the Zephyr that went on sale in October but adds on voice amplification.

The Project Hazel concept had voice amplification, but it was cut when the original Zephyr launched. That version of the smart mask got a dual-fan active filtration system with N95 filters and RGB lighting. Now, the Zephyr Pro can amplify your voice by 60 decibels up to one meter away. A button on the side lets you toggle this feature on and off. The Zephyr Pro will cost US$50 more at US$150 (around CA$191 converted), and Razer plans to sell a starter pack that includes 100 days of filters for US$200 (CA$255). But it hasn't said when it's releasing the product.
