Apple is reportedly updating its Apple TV device this year, and it might be coming soon. The company isn't expected to hold an event this month, but it could be announced in a press release. And what can you expect from this TV box?
It reportedly will get an A14 Bionic chip, which powers the iPhone 12 series and fourth-generation iPad Air. This is expected to improve performance across apps and games.
The Apple TV is also expected to get an increased RAM, going up from 3GB to 4GB. There will supposedly be a new Siri Remote, but much isn't known about it. And it'll supposedly get a lower price, which is undoubtedly one of the better parts about it.
As MacRumors pointed out, though, Apple hasn't done an annual refresh of the Apple TV, so a 2023 launch might seem to track better. But if the upgrades aren't that major, we still might see it this year.
