NordVPN launches official app for Apple TV with tvOS 17

With the new tvOS 17 update, Apple TV users can now enjoy native VPN apps from leading providers. NordVPN is the latest one to follow suit. By using the NordVPN app, you can connect to any of the company’s secure servers worldwide. The app also encrypts all your network traffic and uses the NordLynx protocol to boost your connection speed. This should result in a smooth streaming experience with less buffering, depending on your network and server locations.

NordVPN had previously expressed some concerns about the limitations of native VPNs on tvOS 17. However, it seems that the company has overcome those challenges.

Apple announced tvOS 17 at its WWDC 2023 keynote on Monday but did not mention the VPN support during the presentation. However, the company revealed more details about the new feature on its website.

Apple TV app will supposedly come to Android

Android users may finally get easier access to Apple TV+ service. Twitter user ShrimpApplePro, who has accurately leaked the iPhone 14 Pro's Dynamic Island hardware design, claims the company is internally testing the Apple TV app for Android. However, there isn't a specific timeframe for its release. If it comes out, it'll make it easier for Android users to access the Apple TV+ streaming service instead of having to rely on the browser version of the service. It would also help Apple attract more viewers to its service, so it would be a win for the company, too.
