Lenovo Go Desk Station with Webcam is a do-it-all accessory

Source: Lenovo

We always love seeing quirky accessories at CES, and Lenovo has its fair share of unusual gadgets to reveal at the tech show. The newest one is the Go Desk Station with Webcam. The model name doesn't explain much about what this gadget is, but it's basically a webcam, adjustable desk light, Qi wireless charger, and expansion hub in one.

It has the Lenovo GO 4K Pro Webcam, which is available as a standalone camera. This cam is built for video conferencing and high-res streaming with support for up to 4K at 30 frames per second streaming, autofocus, and auto-framing. It even has auto ambient light adjustment. The Go Desk Station attaches to the top of the lamp.

This desk light features a height-adjustable and rotating arm, so it can directly illuminate what you need. It has three colour temperature options, including 3,000K (yellow-white), 4,500K (cool white) and 6,500K (daylight), with brightness up to 1600 lux at 0.5 meters (1.5 feet).

On top of this, it has a 135-watt USB-C power input with a full-function 65-watt USB-C port for laptops. It comes equipped with a 15-watt Qi complaint charging pad, 20W USB Type-C port, two USB Type-A 3.1 ports, and an HDMI 2.0 output for external displays up to 4K at 60fps.

Unsurprisingly, the amount of things the Go Desk Station can do means you'll pay a premium price for this accessory. It will retail for US$329 (around CA$445) starting March 2023.
