Garmin debuts vivosmart 5 fitness tracker

Source: Garmin

It's been a while since Garmin refreshed its vivosmart line. But now we get the new vivosmart 5, which brings many of its predecessor's features. It sports the same slim look but has a larger OLED screen and an interchangeable band. It also gets connected GPS, linking it to your smartphone to track your runs or bike rides' distance, speed, and pace. The vivosmart 5 monitors 14 other activities like HIIT, yoga, and even breathwork.

This model doesn't get ECG sensors, but it has a pulse ox and sleep-tracking features. You can get up to seven days on a single charge. The vivosmart 5 is both swim- and shower-proof. You can get the band in cool mint, black, and white. It's available for $199.99.
