Rodecaster Duo is a more compact Rodecaster Pro II successor

Photo: Rode

If you want a more portable or compact version of the Rodecaster Pro II, this new Rodecaster Duo is for you. This Rode device allows you to use your most power-hungry microphones without needing an in-line signal booster while offering Bluetooth connectivity for audio monitoring.

It is a two-channel model with two XLR Combi inputs for connecting dynamic and condenser mics, four physical faders, and six sound pads for instantly firing off stings and jingles. The Rodecaster Duo uses the same Revolution preamps as its larger sibling. It also gets two headphone outputs plus a front-mounted TRS 3.5mm jack, which should be useful for sportscasters.

The Rodecaster Duo also has a full-colour display, customized routing tables, two USB-C inputs, and Rode's Aphez DSP processing for adding effects like compression and limiters. Like the Rode Streamer X, we don't have the pricing for this device yet.
