Apple goes transparent with the Beats Studio Buds+

Apple brings back the 90s with its new transparent Beats Studio Buds+, the latest pair of wireless earbuds from Apple. They come in a clear finish that recalls the transparent gadgets of the past. (Think Game Boy Pockets, N64s, and recently Nothing's line of earbuds.)

The new buds have a two-layer transducer that promises clear bass and low distortion for music and calls. They also have an Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) mode that blocks out external noise, and a Transparency mode that lets in some ambient sound. Apple says the new earbuds have 1.6 times more powerful ANC and two times better Transparency than the previous model.

The earbuds are compatible with both iOS and Android devices. And supports Android features like Google Fast Pair and Find My Device. They also have up to 36 hours of battery life, including 27 hours from the case and nine hours from each earbud. A quick five-minute charge via its "Fast Fuel" charging option gives an hour of use.

The Beats Studio Buds+ are available in three colours—Black/Gold, Ivory, and Transparent (of course)—and cost CAD 229.95.
