If you are a Lego enthusiast who loves space exploration, you will be thrilled by the new Lego Technic NASA Mars Rover Perseverance, which was revealed today for CAD 129.99. This set is a realistic replica of the actual rover roaming the Red Planet, with many features that highlight its engineering and scientific achievements.

The Lego rover has a six-wheel suspension system that can be adjusted with a lever. You can turn four of its wheels inward to make the rover spin 360 degrees on the spot or keep them straight for normal driving. This feature reflects the real rover’s ability to navigate tight spaces and overcome challenging terrain.

This model also has a sample arm that can be manipulated with dials to move up, down, left, and right. The arm can collect and store rock samples, which is the main goal of the rover’s mission. If you want to pretend to pick up rocks, Lego has created an augmented reality app that includes “exciting, educational content getting to know the real-life vehicle and its mission on Mars.” You can even view the local weather on the planet.

The set also comes with a miniature version of the Mars Ingenuity helicopter, which made history as the first powered flight on another world. The set measures 9 inches high, 9 inches wide, and 12.5 inches long, making it a sizable and impressive model.
