'Darkest Dungeon II' lands on Steam, Epic Games Store on May 8

Darkest Dungeon II, the highly anticipated sequel to the roguelike RPG, will launch version 1.0 on the Epic Games Store and Steam tomorrow, May 8. Red Hook Studios revealed the date with a trailer that showcases its hand-drawn art style and new features. If you have Darkest Dungeon on Steam, you can get a limited-time discount on the new title.

Red Hook promises a game with a rich and immersive story, a polished turn-based combat system, and some new features unavailable in the early access release. This 1.0 version adds one playable character and the final two story acts. You can expect quality-of-life improvements in the future, as well as new monsters and hero skins, mod support, and ongoing balance tuning.
