Dolby Laboratories has introduced a new feature that lets you customize your sound system with wireless speakers and enjoy a personalized Dolby Atmos experience. The Dolby Atmos FlexConnect will debut in TCL’s 2024 TV lineup.

This feature lets you easily pair your TV’s sound system with wireless speakers and create a wider and more immersive Dolby Atmos sound field in your home. Dolby Atmos FlexConnect smartly adjusts the sound for any room layout and speaker setup, making any seat the best seat in the house. 

You can put one or more wireless speakers anywhere in the room without worrying about their placement. The system then intelligently combines each wireless speaker with the TV’s speakers for a Dolby Atmos sound experience tailored to your home.

If you want the best audio quality from your sound system, you may face some challenges depending on your room size, shape, and furniture arrangement. Some rooms may not allow you to place speakers in their optimal position. You may also not want to compromise your room’s aesthetics for sound performance. Without proper calibration, sound systems will assume the speakers are in reference locations.
