Samsung has officially unveiled the special edition version of the Galaxy Z Fold6. As mentioned in the rumours, it is thinner and lighter than the Fold6 and features slightly bigger displays and a new banded pattern on the back. It will come to China, as rumoured, but the only other market the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is coming to is its home country, South Korea. It will retail for 2,789,600 KRW or roughly CA$2,798 and go on sale starting Friday, October 25.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition comes in at 236 grams and 10.6mm thin, making it three grams lighter and 1.5mm thinner than the Fold6. It now has 16GB of RAM standard and a 200-megapixel wide-angle sensor over the 50-megapixel one on the Fold6. As mentioned, the inner and outer screens are a bit larger, too. They're now 8- and 6-inches, respectively, up from 7.6- and 6.3-inches.
