TCL's Google TV-powered portable projector doubles as a Bluetooth speaker

TCL launched its first portable projector. The Projector A1 is a Google TV-powered device that works as a stereo Bluetooth speaker on the site. It offers a full HD resolution with a reported brightness of 360 ISO lumens and an image size ranging from 45 to 120 inches diagonally. Unfortunately, it doesn't have an internal battery. So, while it's portable, you need a power source nearby.

The Projector A1's design reminds us of the high-end LG CineBeam Qube with a handle that doubles as an adjustable stand. Since it's a Google TV device, the projector supports Google Assistant and Google Cast, allowing you to mirror content from your mobile devices via Wi-Fi. This projector has twin 8-watt speakers and supports a standalone Bluetooth speaker mode.

The TCL Projector A1 retails for US$499 (around CA$706).
