YouTube's new AI eraser tool can take out copyright music without deleting rest of the audio

The frustration of pouring countless hours into a YouTube video only to have it flagged for copyright infringement due to an unknowingly used track is a common ordeal for creators. Previously, the options to address this issue were limited to muting the entire copyrighted segment or deleting it altogether, often compromising the video's integrity.

Fortunately, YouTube's newly updated AI eraser tool has emerged as a game-changer. Released on July 4, this tool utilizes advanced artificial intelligence to seamlessly remove copyrighted music from videos while preserving other audio elements (such as sound effects and dialogue).

While this feature represents a significant step forward, YouTube acknowledges that it may not be effective in all cases, particularly when the copyrighted music is challenging to isolate. In such instances, creators can still resort to traditional methods like trimming or muting the affected portion.
