Google's original Pixel Fold won't be discontinued

Google's original Pixel Fold is making a comeback. Despite being temporarily unavailable after the launch of its successor, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, Google has confirmed that the older model will return to the market after or on September 4.

While we're still waiting for details on any potential price reductions, it's likely that Google will offer a modest discount to entice buyers. This strategy is similar to Apple's, where older models often receive a slight price cut when new ones are released.

So, if you missed out on the Pixel Fold the first time around and prefer that over this new model, you'll have another chance to grab one starting in early September.
