Nomad introduces Stand One Max with Qi2 support

Nomad has unveiled its latest multi-device charger, the Stand One Max, featuring Qi2 support for faster iPhone charging. This marks a departure from the previous MagSafe-based model, offering users the benefits of the new Qi standard without compromising charging speed.

The Stand One Max can charge an iPhone up to 15W, which promises comparable performance to MagSafe. Designed for convenience and style, the Stand One Max features an upright charging base for the iPhone, a small charging arm for the Apple Watch, and a Qi-based platform for AirPods. Its compact form factor makes it ideal for desks or nightstands. It also boasts a sleek metal design with a shiny glass cover and is available in silver or carbide finishes.

One notable improvement in this version is the repositioned Apple Watch charger. This allows for compatibility with the iPhone's StandBy mode, providing a more versatile charging experience. The Stand One Max supports fast charging for the Apple Watch Series 7 or later and offers 5W charging for AirPods. The AirPods charger is pushed back behind the Apple Watch charger, while it retains the same footprint.

The Stand One Max is priced at $220 in Canada, a $20 reduction from its MagSafe predecessor. While you'll need to provide your own 30W power adapter, a USB-C power cable is included. The charger is now available for purchase on the Nomad website.
