'Sea of Stars' DLC "Throes of the Watchmaker" unveiled

Sabotage Studio has announced the upcoming free DLC, "Throes of the Watchmaker," for their critically acclaimed RPG, Sea of Stars. Set to launch in Spring 2025, this expansion will take the Solstice Warriors, Valere and Zale, on a whimsical adventure into the miniature clockwork world of Horloge.

In this magical realm, threatened by a cursed carnival, they will need to adapt their powers to the unfamiliar rules of Horloge. Zale will become a nimble Juggler, while Valere will transform into a dazzling Acrobat. These new classes will introduce unique attacks, damage types, skills, and combos, perfectly suited for the circus-themed world.

Joining the party is Arty, a friendly artificer robot. With his laser-shooting capabilities finally unlocked, Arty will aid Valere and Zale in their quest to save Horloge.

"Throes of the Watchmaker" will introduce new areas, music, enemies, bosses, and puzzles. Explore the miniature clockwork world filled with oddities, wonders, and unique environments. The DLC will also feature new NPCs, enemies, dungeons, and a fresh soundtrack composed by Eric W. Brown.

The upcoming local cooperative mode, allowing up to three players to engage in traversal and combat with a new "Co-Op timed hits" mechanic, will also be available for "Throes of the Watchmaker." This feature will also be added to the main Sea of Stars adventure in Q4 2024.

Sea of Stars is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam.
