'Sea of Stars' DLC "Throes of the Watchmaker" unveiled

Sabotage Studio has announced the upcoming free DLC, "Throes of the Watchmaker," for their critically acclaimed RPG, Sea of Stars. Set to launch in Spring 2025, this expansion will take the Solstice Warriors, Valere and Zale, on a whimsical adventure into the miniature clockwork world of Horloge.

In this magical realm, threatened by a cursed carnival, they will need to adapt their powers to the unfamiliar rules of Horloge. Zale will become a nimble Juggler, while Valere will transform into a dazzling Acrobat. These new classes will introduce unique attacks, damage types, skills, and combos, perfectly suited for the circus-themed world.

Next-gen update for 'The Witcher 3' will come with DLC 'inspired by' Netflix series

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is getting a free update to optimize the game for new consoles like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S later this year. CD Projekt Red will include free downloadable content "inspired by" the Netflix series. The developer and Netflix announced this news during WitcherCon. Not much is known about the DLC yet. But Philipp Weber, acting lead quest designer at CD Projekt Red, said: "So as an example, you might be able to wear Geralt's armour inspired by the Netflix series."

This update has been in the works since September 2020. Back then, the developer said it would offer "a range of visual and technical improvements," including ray tracing and quicker loading times. The update will apply to the "base game, both expansions, and all extra content."

Bethesda promotes 'Elder Scrolls Online' DLC with Twitter-based choose-your-own adventure

With the recent release of Elder Scrolls Online's Markarth game pack, Bethesda ANZ is holding a choose your own adventure-type story on Twitter. It starts with deciding what path you will take and then branches into other choices where you either end up fighting, making friends, and more.

The Markarth DLC marks the end of the "Dark Heart of Skyrim" storyline that's been a part of Elder Scrolls' recent expansions. And if you want to try ESO for free, the game is free-to-play until December 9.
