Report: Apple partners with Sony for Vision Pro's gaming future

Apple is reportedly considering the future of gaming on its Vision Pro headset and is working with Sony to make it happen. Bloomberg reports that the two companies agreed to launch support for the PlayStation VR2's hand controllers on the Vision Pro. Apple has also supposedly approached third-party developers to integrate support into their games.

Apple and Sony were supposed to launch the PlayStation VR2 controller support weeks ago, but the rollout was postponed. An issue might be that Sony doesn't sell its VR hand controllers as standalone accessories, so the company needs to decouple the accessory from its headset. It must also sell these controllers at Apple's online and retail stores.

It can now match with other Apple products like the Mac and iPad. Apple refreshed its premium headphones to offer USB-C charging, too. The new AirPods Max is now available for pre-order. It is coming to stores starting September 20. It retails for CA$779.
