CES 2025: Shark's bite into beauty: CryoGlow mask promises radiant skin

Shark, known for its home appliances, expanded its Beauty business in 2021 and is now venturing into skincare with the CryoGlow mask. Showcased at CES 2025, this multi-functional device combines LED and infrared light with a unique under-eye cooling treatment to address various skin concerns.

Developed over 18 months, the CryoGlow mask reflects Shark's consumer-centric approach. By actively listening to customer feedback, the brand identified a need for an inclusive skin care solution that addresses diverse concerns like firming, tightening, and acne.

The mask incorporates "InstaChill" technology, providing immediate cooling and visible results, such as tightened and awakened eyes. Clinical studies demonstrated significant improvements in acne, skin smoothness, radiance, firmness, and redness reduction with consistent use.

Launching at US$349 (around CA$502), the Shark Beauty CryoGlow mask is competitively priced compared to other premium LED masks on the market, including offerings from Therabody, Dr. Dennis Gross, and CurrentBody. The mask will be available on Shark's e-commerce site later this month and will subsequently launch at major retailers like Sephora, Ulta, Nordstrom, Amazon, and Best Buy in March.
