George R.R. Martin releases teaser of new 'Game of Thrones' book with new chapter

Hoping to quench fans's thirst (or agitate them further), author George R.R. Martin released a new chapter of the next book in the A Song of Ice and Fire saga. As you know, these books are the basis for the hit HBO show, Game of Thrones. The released chapter focuses on Sansa Stark, a now well-loved character.

Unfortunately, we aren't getting the rest of the book any time soon. Martin previously said the book won't be coming out this year so 2016 might be the earliest will get The Winds of Winter book. He is known to take his time with releasing GoT books. The gap between A Feast for Crows and the latest A Dance With Dragons was six years.

Tiny crossfader wants to boost your iPad DJ skills

The team behind EDJing wants to help casual DJs slim down their kit with is new tiny crossfader. Called Mixfader, this little device hooks up to an app that will give you some sort of physical control and let you mix, spin, and scratch the digital vinyl of your choice. The makers promise that after five years of R&D with Mixfader, it should get rid of the latency that plagues other DJ apps. There’s a bit of a wait though to see if this lives up to the hype.

Get a sneak peek of season 6 of ‘Community’

Waiting for the sixth season a.k.a. comeback of Community? Well, Yahoo released a teaser of it through Variety. The show was previously cancelled by NBC after its rocky run. But the fans wouldn’t hear any of this. That’s why Yahoo decided to pick it up and premiere it on their standalone streaming service, Yahoo Screen, on March 17 (today!).

The whole cast and creator Dan Harmon are back for this season and the series introduces two new cast members, too, in Paget Brewster and Keith David. There will be 13 episodes for the season and rumours are a movie is even in the works (but that isn’t confirmed). The great thing is you’ll be able to watch this for free. However, this comes at the price of having to sit through ads. You have to take what you can get then.
