Sonos home audio systems to support Apple Music by end of 2015

Sonos users will have to wait just a bit before getting to blast Apple Music through their speakers. Apple and Sonos have confirmed that the companies are working towards the availability of Apple Music on Sonos systems by the end of the year. Apple’s new service is coming out in the U.S. on Tuesday, June 30 to coincide with the release of iOS 8.4 and developer seed of iOS 9.

Apple shows LGBT pride with new special iTunes section


Apple just debuted a new LGBT Pride-themed section on iTunes. It showcases different media like apps, books, music, podcasts, and music to celebrate LGBT civil rights. In this section, Apple notes the significance of the month of June for the LGBT community. This month we commemorate the anniversary of the Stonewall riots, which is considered the start of the LGBT civil rights movement.

With the Beats 1 Radio service debut looming over our heads, it seems DJ Zane Lowe called in a few high profile friends to help out. A bunch of celebrities will be hosting their own music shows with genres spanning the classics to something the millennials in your life would love. A few of the guest hosts include Drake, Elton John, Pharrell, Jaden Smith, Disclosure, St. Vincent, and Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age. And yes, Dr. Dre also gets his own show.
