Bell, Virgin Mobile selling HTC Legend

Bell and Virgin Mobile are offering customers the HTC Legend Android powered smartphone. Featuring a unibody aluminum case, an optical mouse and a bright AMOLED screen, the HTC Legend runs Android OS 2 but with the HTC Sense skin. Bell sells the HTC Legend at $80.00 on a three-year plan and $400 outright without a contract. Virgin Mobile also has it at $80.00 on a three-year lockdown as well as $350.00 on a thirty day plan. Microsoft Office 2010 is now available


Microsoft Office 2010, Visio 2010 and Project 2010 software suites are now shipping.  Office 2010 is now available at retail stores across Canada, such as Future Shop, Best Buy, Staples; through online retailers, including Amazon.ca; and direct from Microsoft at Office.com/ca. We've been testing Office 2010 for the past week and have found it to have increased overall speed even on a lower spec netbook running Windows 7 home.

Samsung Galaxy Tab caught on video in all its Android glory

The Samsung Galaxy Tab which was initially caught on Twitter is now shown above in a video by Gianclaro. As we feast our eyes on Samsung's iPad rival we see its uncanny resemblance to Apple's device even in terms of its glass to aluminium ratio an dock connector. It does seem to be running Android and not Samsung's TouchWIZ or Bada OS.

Some alleged specs : 7″ SUPER AMOLED display, 1.2 GHz A8 processor, 16GB internal storage, SD-card reader with 32GB expansion capabilities, 4,000 mAh battery, and  running Android 2.2 Froyo. The source says the tablet will allegedly weigh in at 370-grams (0.82 lbs) and carry the model number P1000.

Study: Six in ten kids have had negative online experiences

The Internet can be a scary place and as social networking and online gaming become more common, personal privacy, online safety and its effect on children is an increasing concern. A recent study of 2,800 kids worldwide from Norton revealed that children and parents need to be more aware of what's out there and how to deal with it.
