Apple Watch pre-orders to begin on April 10 at 12:01 AM Pacific Time

Apple just announced that online pre-orders for Apple Watch will start at 12:01 AM Pacific Time (3:01 AM Eastern) on Friday, April 10. Canadians interested in getting their Apple Watch and bands online for in-store pick up or delivery can place their pre-orders here, Apple Watch should be shipping by April 24, so anyone who wants to make sure their Apple Watch arrives on the 24th will want to set their alarm clocks early on the morning of April 10th.

Apple will take orders through its website and through its Apple Store app on the iPhone.

Apple Watch strikes a pose on the cover of Canada's Flare magazine

TV ads for Apple Watch have started to appear in Canadian primetime TV and the latest issue of Canadian fashion and lifestyle magazine Flare has the Apple Watch Sport variant of watch on the cover with an accompanying 15 Things you Can Do with your Apple Watch article. It seems we can expect all things Apple Watch to surface to the mainstream as the April 24th launch date nears.

Expedia.ca announces full-featured Apple Watch app

As one of the 15 selected app launch partners, Expedia.ca just announced that the free Expedia app for Apple Watch will be one of the first users can experience when the wearable device becomes available on April 24, 2015.

Expedia app for Apple Watch will provide travellers with quick access to important travel information on the go. This includes the ability to check itineraries for upcoming trips and get detailed flight and hotel information such as departure and arrival times, gate and terminal numbers, check-in and check-out times, ratings, locations, addresses, and phone numbers for hotels. Handy dandy, eh?

While the availablity of Apple Watch is around the corner, there's still a lot of information we don't know about Apple's wearable.
