Apple Store down in preparation for Apple Watch and MacBook orders

Just hours away before Apple Watch online preorders open, the online Apple Store is down for updates and we suspect that the Apple elves are busy redecorating the Retail Stores to highlight the Watch as well as the new MacBook which will also be available in stores and online tomorrow.

Customers can pre-order their Apple Watch through the Apple Online Store (www.apple.ca) beginning April 10 at 12:01 a.m.  or PDT 3:01 a.m. Eastern for delivery beginning April 24. 

Apple Watch preorders and previews start on April 10

While Apple Watch is shipping on April 24th, the best way to experience it first hand is to schedule a visit to Apple's Retail Stores and try it on. Apple has revamped various of its retail stores to allot space to Watch and best help cutomers try and choose their latest products and accessories.

Interested customers can preview and pre-order the wearables on Friday, April 10. Customers in Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, the UK and the US can try on and experience Apple Watch at their local Apple Store. Customers can pre-order their Apple Watch through the Apple Online Store (www.apple.ca) beginning April 10 at 12:01 a.m.  or PDT 3:01 a.m. Eastern for delivery beginning April 24.

Apple Watch online orders to be available for in store pickup

Apple has updated its US Apple Watch product page which now indicates that online pre-orders can either be shipped to your address or picked up in store on launch day. After the April 10 pre-order date, some Apple Stores will feature try-on sections where customers can check out Watch and see which collections and band suits them best as well as ascertain which of the Watch's two sizes fit them better. Customers have a limited time to try on the product and can then place an order right at the store.
