Apple is working on a fix to let you unlock your iPhone 13 with your Apple Watch

If you're wondering why you can't unlock your iPhone 13 with the Apple Watch, you're not alone. There's a bug that affects the new iPhones from using the feature. Apple released this functionality to allow users wearing face masks or sunglasses to unlock their smartphones without Face ID or passcode. But some users trying out the feature on the iPhone 13 are getting error messages like "Unable to Communicate with Apple Watch," or they can't set it up at all.

Get the full Telegram experience on your Apple Watch with Nanogram Messenger

There is an official Telegram app for the Apple Watch, but as 9to5Mac pointed out, it leaves a lot to be desired. Third-party Apple accessory makers reportedly hit by Apple Watch charging pucks shortage

Another industry reportedly affected by delays caused by the pandemic is Apple's third-party accessory makers. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman writes in the latest edition of his Power On newsletter that smaller accessory makers are supposedly having issues acquiring Apple's proprietary charging pucks that it can use on their accessories. It results in delays of products. It isn't clear what caused the issue, but it won't be surprising if it's due to the supply chain issues caused by the pandemic. Apple's own chargers aren't affected by the problem.

Spotify on the Apple Watch gets offline music downloads

Spotify

Spotify has plans to bring offline music downloads to Google Wear soon. But that isn't coming out yet. iOS users, though, are getting the feature first. Spotify will let Apple Watch users download playlists, albums, and podcasts and play these offline, meaning you can listen to your favourite audio content without bringing a phone with you.

Back in November, Spotify added the option to stream music using the Apple Watch, but it only worked as a remote for the streaming service. Now, the offline feature will be available on the Apple Watch Series 3 or later, running WatchOS 6.0 later, with WatchOS 7.1 and up recommended. You will also need a Spotify Premium subscription for the feature to work.
