Microsoft says that their Canadian Cloud is open for Business

Microsoft announced that their Canadian datacentres are officially open to power even more businesses in Canada. With this announcement, Microsoft Azure is generally available from local datacentre regions located in Toronto and Quebec City, and Office 365 is now offering data residency for Canadian business customers.

Microsoft offers Canadian businesses and public sector customers the most complete cloud. The Microsoft Cloud is enterprise grade, hyperscale, with the highest standards of data security and privacy, all hosted locally in Canada.

Microsoft democratizing the corporate cloud at the Cloud and Mobility Summit 2014

Microsoft launches Office 15, preview available for download

Microsoft just launched Microsoft Office 15 today during a live webcast this afternoon. The new version of Office is available for download as a Preview so users can get an idea of what it offers. Office 15 will integrate various touch and pen-based input features which are in tune with Windows 8 as well as use on tablets like the Microsoft Surface which was previewed a few weeks ago.
