Mac Users have long enjoyed the benefits of the MagSafe adaptor for their notebooks. Last year's new MacBook used a USB Type-C port for charging and connectivity but did not inherit its bigger sibling's MagSafe connectors (because of the nature of USB Type-C). The BreakSafe adapter (US $39.99),brings the safety and convenience back to newer MacBooks and other laptops with USB-C type connectors.
The quick-release magnetic connector (patent-pending) plugs into your laptop’s USB-C port and safely disconnects from the rest of the cable when under stress or strain, like tripping over the power cord.
