Nintendo goes "Live @ E3"

Nintendo goes “Live @ E3” next week with four big events that deliver real-time fun directly to fans. Get ready to enjoy the year’s biggest video game convention live from anywhere in the world.

On June 10, Nintendo will air the Nintendo Digital Event at 9 a.m. PT via http://e3.nintendo.com. Fans will enjoy breaking news about great gaming experiences on the way for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS in 2014 and beyond.

CES 2013: NVIDIA's launches Project Shield handheld gaming platform

NVIDIA is throwing down the gauntlet in handheld gaming with its fierce new platform that's sure to shake the status quo of this lacklustre segment. Dubbed 'Project Shield', this new open platform will be using the kick ass new Tegra 4 chip (see below) and will interface with the Tegra Zone and Android Play stores for games and has the added advantage of linking up wirelessly with PC STEAM games provided your desktop is running compatible NVIDIA GPU.

Sony reveals PlayStation 3D monitor and 3D Glasses


There's the PlayStation, the PlayStation Portable and now PlayStation branded 3D Monitor and 3D glasses. During it's E3 keynote, Sony took another step towards its 3D focus this year by revealing 3D-specific gaming peripherals, opening the door to a retinue of possible add-ons. The PlayStation 3D monitor is 24" inches and features a two-player splitscreen mode where properly positioned  players see completely different pictures pertaining to their gameplay. The 3D active-shutter glasses are $69.

Game On: 20 new games released for Xperia PLAY


Sony Ericsson announced  more than 20 new games, including 10 exclusive titles, optimized for the shiny new PSP smartphone. The new games, many of which will be showcased at the world’s leading games expo, E3, June 7-9, add to the more than 60 titles already available for Xperia PLAY.
