Apple Opens Everyone Can Code initiative to students globally

Apple today announced the global expansion of its Everyone Can Code initiative to more than 20 colleges and universities outside of the US. These schools will now offer the App Development with Swift Curriculum, a full-year course designed by Apple engineers and educators to teach coding and app design to students of all levels and backgrounds. Now hundreds of thousands of students from around the world gain the opportunity to become proficient in the Swift programming language and build the fundamental skills they need to pursue careers in the booming app economy.

iPhone X coming to 13 more countries

Apple's iPhone X will arrive in 13 additional countries across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa as well as Macau on Friday, November 24. 

iPhone X started shipping in Canada last Friday to long lines of buyers as well as unprecedented pre-orders for the new flagship devices. iPhone X brings an all-new glass design, a beautiful 5.8-inch Super Retina display, A11 Bionic chip with neural engine for powerful machine learning, augmented reality and immersive 3D gaming experiences, wireless charging and Face ID, delivering an innovative and secure new way to unlock, authenticate and pay.

LG G4 to ship in key global markets

LG has announced that its LG G4 flagship will begin rolling out this week to consumers in key markets around the world, continuing throughout the month into June and beyond as more retailers and operators see what LG G4 has to offer their customers. The LG G4 comes to Canada in June.

Starting in Hong Kong, the G4 will follow with rollouts in Turkey, Russia and Singapore, eventually including most of Europe, North America, CIS, Southeast Asia, Middle East/Africa and South/Central America. Approximately 180 carriers and retails are already on board as G4 partners.

TIDAL streaming music service expands its reach to 43 countries globally

TIDAL Jay-Z's premium streaming music service which launched last month to much fanfare by rounding-up the support of some very high-profile names in music. Aiming to ensure artists get paid fairly for the use of their music and that subscribers get access to the highest quality audio (at $19.99 per month), TIDAL also offers videos, curated content and exclusives that will take months to show up on other services, if at all.
