Meet the Pixel 7a: Google’s latest mid-range phone
Google has debuted the Pixel 7a, a mid-range smartphone that borrows some features from the Pixel 7 flagship. For CAD 599, you get a capable smartphone camera setup, one of the more notable changes from its predecessor. It has a 64-megapixel main camera and a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera with a 120-degree field of view. It can do super-res zoom (a first for the Pixel A series), Night Sight, Photo Unblur, and Long Exposure (another Pixel A first). There's also a 13-megapixel selfie camera in front.
The Pixel 7a also has a 6.1-inch OLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and adaptive brightness. It runs on Google’s Tensor G2 chip, which delivers fast performance and AI features. It supports Pixel software features like Clear Calling, Direct My Call, and voice message transcription.
