‘Halo: The Master Chief’ collection will include beta version of ‘Halo 5’

Microsoft has finally confirmed the appearance of the Halo: The Master Chief Collection at E3 and says the remastered games will be available for the Xbox starting November 11^th. The collection will include Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4. It will keep the multiplayer experience and all the downloadable content plus gamers will have access to the multiplayer beta of Halo 5: Guardians by December as well as the Steven Spielberg-backed TV show called Halo: Nightfall.

The games will remain mostly unchanged expected they will come in 1080p and run at 60fps. You get the option to switch back and forth between the original graphics and the Xbox One’s engine with Halo 2. The first two games will also have new music. And all levels, missions, and maps will be unlocked from the beginning.

Microsoft tipped to release re-mastered suite of ‘Halo’ games for Xbox One

Microsoft wants to give new Halo 5 gamers a chance to catch up with the franchise with an upcoming release. The Verge reports that Microsoft will release past Halo games, including Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4, sometime this year. These titles is said to be released under the Halo: The Master Chief Collection. If these rumours are to be believed, this is good news for those who haven’t been able to catch up with the franchise yet.

Xbox Live Gold goodies this October

If you’ve been thinking about becoming an Xbox Live Gold member, then let Microsoft help you make the decision. Xbox Live Gold games and apps will be unlocked and be accessible to everyone on the Xbox 360 for free this weekend from October 4 to 6.

Meanwhile, existing Xbox Live Gold members are in for a treat as well. From October 1 to 15, the game Might & Magic Clash of Heroes will be available for free and then from the 16^th to the end of the month, Halo 3 will be up for free download.
