BB10 gets Netflix, Hulu, HBO GO, 60 + Channels though PlayON

BlackBerry BB10 smartphone users are getting an amazing range of content options on their devices through the PlayON app which offers Netflix Hulu, HBO GO and an additional 60+ channels through streaming.. 

This is huge since it is the first time, BlackBerry 10 customers in the US and Canada can watch content from Hulu, Netflix and HBO GO on their smartphone.

Apple TV update 5.2.1 brings bug fixes and serves up increased security

Apple iOS devices have been the focus of various hacks and exploits of late and the Apple TV is no exception. Apple has provided the update 5.2.1 that brings various bug fixes and seals the exploit where some users can execute unassigned code. Roku 2 XD and 2 XS officially launched in Canada

Roku, the leading streaming platform in the U.S. today announced the official launch of its products in Canada. Two Roku streaming player models – the Roku 2 XD and the Roku 2 XS – are available for purchase in Canada starting today. The Roku 2 XD and the Roku 2 XS streaming players have suggested retail prices of CAD 89.99 and CAD 109.99, respectively.
