Microsoft Outlook gets Android Wear watch face

Microsoft wants to make it easier for you to see your schedule and unread emails with its new Outlook for Android Wear watch face. You no longer have to rely on notifications from the Android Wear app but you can just raise your wrist to check your calendar and email as well as the time, of course. There are also different background and accent colors for you to choose from to make it somewhat your own. You can still interact with Outlook the same way you did with the Android smartphone app. You still have the options to respond to RSVP request, send replies from a pre-set list, and use voice dictation to compose a customized message.

Outlook gets Android Wear support

The latest update for Microsoft's Outlook app introduces Android Wear support, giving you greater flexibility for answering emails while on the move. The update allows you to check notifications, read new emails, and either reply with pre-set messages or use voice dictation. It's currently rolling out to Google Play so be patient if it doesn't make its way to you just yet.

Outlook adds support for Facebook, Evernote, and Wunderlist calendars

Turning Outlook into the hub for all your needs, the email app now integrates Facebook, Evernote, and Wunderlist calendars into its app. Now, you can RSVP to Facebook events right from outlook or get reminders for your Wunderlist to-dos or Evernote reminders right from within the app. Microsoft promises even more third-party services will be included in the future.

Microsoft Outlook on iOS gets 3D Touch support

It’s now easier for iOS users to send emails, add events to your calendar, or head straight to your calendar itself. A new update for Microsoft Outlook on Apple’s mobile platform introduces 3D Touch support. Now, iPhones 6s and iPhone 6s Plus users just need to press on the home button to be able to do the aforementioned actions. However, that seems to be the extent of the feature. There doesn’t seem to be any other quick actions you can do from the home screen. Hopefully, that changes in the future.

Also in the update, you can print any message or conversation thread right from your phone. Just look for the option in the top right corner of the app. But please, if this is something you plan on using, think if it’s actually necessary to print the email thread that you want to.
