OnePlus introduces its first foldable, the OnePlus Open. It features a book-style design that makes it easy to use and comfortable to hold. It is based on the Oppo Find N3 but with wider availability and OnePlus branding. And yes, it is coming to Canada.

The OnePlus Open has two stunning displays: a 6.31-inch Super Fluid LTPO 3.0 AMOLED screen on the outside and a 7.82-inch Flexi-fluid LTPO 3.0 AMOLED screen on the inside. Both have adaptive refresh rates up to 120Hz and impressive brightness levels up to 2,800 nits.

Is another OnePlus 11 Special Edition version in the works?

OnePlus may have another version of it OnePlus 11 smartphone in the works. But it's unclear if this is a concept device or one that'll get released. OnePlus China President Li Jie teased a first look at the device, saying it will feature "unprecedented materials and craftsmanship, making each mobile phone unique."

This phone is seen imposed against an image of Jupiter, suggesting a space-themed back design. Tipster Digital Chat Station suggested this OnePlus phone will feature an industry-first, special material on the back that's cool to the touch. Other rumours suggest this will feature colour-shifting properties, but there's no official confirmation from OnePlus yet.

OnePlus Pad pre-order tipped for April 10

OnePlus' first tablet is expected to launch next month. The company initially mentioned it was releasing the OnePlus Pad in April, but it hasn't mentioned a specific date. An email sent out to customers have been spotted online with a pre-order date scheduled for April 10. The company also teases that these early bird customers who received the email will be eligible for an "amazing gift." It's unclear when the tablet will start shipping, though. OnePlus 11 Concept demos new cooling tech for smartphones

OnePlus doesn't have a new phone to show off at Mobile World Congress 2023 in Barcelona, but it did have a new concept. The OnePlus 11 Concept phone shows off what active cooling technology looks like on a smartphone. It sports an Active CryoFlux design that you can see off the back of the phone, reminiscent of cooling pipes you'll see on PC rigs. 

What this does for the phone is it reduces the temperature up to 2.1℃, improving the frame rate by three or four frames per second during gameplay. When charging, it also brings down the temp by 1.6℃, which shaves off 30 to 45 seconds from the charging time.
