Screenshots of Microsoft's 'Project Spartan' browser leak online

Microsoft's Project Spartan is the new browser experience that's coming to Windows 10 later this year. While the new Technical Preview does not include Project Spartan and while Microsoft has yet to demo the application in its enteriety, some screenshots claiming to show the browser have emerged. From the looks of it, Microsoft is going minimalist with their new browser. We're going to see Reading Mode, access to Cortana as well as the ability to annotate webpages directly with a stylus or your finger.

Microsoft has been working on a next generaton web browser to come with Windows 10 and it is called Project Spartan. The first major browser move after Internet Explorer, Project Spartan boasts a new rendering engine for faster and more accurate webpages, an annotating feature that allows users to use a pen or their fingers to markup text or images on touch devices and a new reading mode that sheds images and formatting to give users a better reading experience and Cortana is also woven into Project Spartan which means users should be able to easily access the personal assistant for searches.

Project Spartan is still a ways off and won't be included in the next build of the Windows 10 preview it is coming to both desktop and mobile in the future.
