CES 2020: Samsung Family Hub smart ref tips you off when you're running out of ingredients
Samsung first introduced the Family Hub smart fridge at the Consumer Electronics Show in 2016. Since then, the company has been releasing iterations that improve its capabilities. The latest update introduces some software enhancements to improve the artificial intelligence capabilities of the cameras inside the refrigerator.
The cameras inside the Family Hub smart fridge can already show you what's inside. With the AI update, the Family Hub can supposedly offer recommendations as well as help you identify what ingredients you're low on. We aren't sure though how it'll do that with ingredients kept in Tupperware.
