Are these RIM's new BlackBerry 10 smartphones?

One of the biggest questions that RIM watchers have asked is whether there will be a QWERTY keyboard BB10 smartphone and the answer from RIM has always been yes even if they showed off the new OS on a multi-touch smartphone, the Dev Alpha device.

The image above, a screenshot from a video (Update: Original Vimeo video has been taken down) shows both an multi-touch display BlackBerry and a QWERTY keyboard and a large touchscreen smartphone that's similar to the BlackBerry Bold. There's no telling if this is final hardware but whatever will be released in 2013 will likely look very similar. These devices represent the L Series (full touchscreen) which will come to market first, while the N series the anticipated BlackBerry 10 phone that features a full qwerty keyboard and familiar styling.

Enhanced Rogers One Number unified communications platform goes live

Rogers Communications announced a newly enhanced platform that now allows customers to extend their existing Rogers wireless number not only to their computers, but also to their regular home phone and iPad. In addition, the Rogers One Number experience will be offered to small businesses across Canada this fall.

Phablet Redux: Samsung Galaxy Note 2 announced

I have just heard from Telus, Videotron and Mobilicity that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is slated for Canadian release. The Note 2 features a new 1.6GHz quad core processor, a larger 140.9 mm (5.55") HD Super AMOLED (1,280 x 720) display, 16/32/64GB User memory + 2GB (RAM) and microSD expansion. It also has an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 1.9 megapixelf front-facing camera. The Note 2 will ship in the fall, no pricing has yet been revealed.
